Terms of Service

Welcome to Colorway Studio (“Colorway,” “we,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our digital coloring studio at colorway.studio (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
• You must verify your email address to activate your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account for the purpose of evading limits, bans, or payment.

2. The Service

Colorway Studio provides a library of line-art images (“the catalog”), tools to color them, personal palette and project storage, a community gallery for works you choose to share, and optional Premium features such as early weekly drops, seasonal packs, printable calendars, photo-to-line-art conversion, and advanced fill styles. We may add, change, or retire features and catalog content at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to share content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Upload or convert images you do not have the right to use with the photo-to-line-art tool.
• Attempt to access another user’s data, reverse-engineer the Service, or disrupt its operation.
• Resell, redistribute, or bulk-scrape catalog artwork or the Service without permission.
• Share your account credentials or automate access beyond reasonable personal use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Catalog artwork you produce finished pieces from remains the property of Colorway Studio for the purpose of providing the Service; the original coloring you create is yours to keep, export, and share subject to these Terms.

4. Premium Subscriptions

• Premium is offered as a recurring subscription billed through Base44 Payments in monthly or yearly cycles.
• By subscribing you authorize us to charge the listed price at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time from your Profile page. Cancellation stops future charges; your Premium access continues until the end of the current paid period, then reverts to the Free tier.
• Pricing may change on reasonable notice. Price changes apply to future billing cycles, not the current one.
• Features included in Premium may change, but we will not remove features you are mid-billing-period on without a substitute or pro-rata remedy.

5. Refunds & Limitation of Damages

Refund policy. Because Premium is a digital subscription with immediate access, charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Where a refund is owed — for example, a proven duplicate charge or a billing error — we will refund up to the amount of the most recent payment taken from you.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colorway’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms — including any subscription, downtime, data loss, or lost artwork — shall be limited to the amount of the last payment you paid to us within the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or, if no payment was made in that period, to US $0. In no event will Colorway be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, however caused. This limitation applies even if Colorway has been advised of the possibility of such damages and is a material basis of the bargain between you and us.

6. User Content & Sharing

You retain ownership of the coloring you create. By marking a project public, you grant Colorway a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the Service (for example, the Gallery Showcase) and to show your display name alongside it. You may revoke this by making the project private or deleting it. You are responsible for any content you share and for ensuring you have the rights to any image you convert or upload.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties (for example, the payment provider and social sharing platforms). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

9. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time. We will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe cause harm to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, limitation of liability, and these termination terms — will remain in effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.

12. General

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Colorway operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Colorway regarding the Service.
