Colorway Studio (“Colorway,” “we,” “us”) operates a digital coloring studio at colorway.studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to all visitors and registered users of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data — the email address and password you provide when you register, and a display name if you set one. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes; we never see them in plain text.
• Coloring activity — your saved coloring projects, custom color palettes, streak history, and finished artwork you choose to keep or share.
• Payment records — when you purchase Premium, a Base44 Payments order record is created to track your subscription. We never receive or store your full card number; card data is handled entirely by our payment provider under their own PCI-DSS compliance.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as which features you use and approximate device type, used to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate your account, save your projects and palettes, and sync them across devices.
• To process Premium subscriptions and confirm renewal or cancellation.
• To show you the public Gallery Showcase — only for projects you have explicitly marked public.
• To communicate with you about your account, payments, and important service changes.
• To maintain security, investigate abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share coloring activity with advertisers.

3. Data Ownership & Isolation

Your projects, palettes, and purchase history are linked to your account and are private to you. Only you can read, edit, or delete them. Administrators may view records only to operate and secure the Service. A piece of artwork appears in the community Gallery Showcase only when you choose to mark it public; it is otherwise invisible to other users. You may delete any project at any time.

4. Sharing & Social Media

Features that export or post your artwork (such as Instagram Stories export) act on your explicit action and use your own connected account. Colorway does not post on your behalf without your initiation. Anything you publish is subject to the privacy settings and policies of the platform you share to.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage and essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated projects at any time by contacting us; we will remove personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (such as transaction records for tax compliance).

7. Security

User accounts require email verification. Personal data is isolated per user at the database layer, and administrative access is restricted to authorized admins. Payment card data never passes through our systems. No service is perfectly secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is designed for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
